Seashore restaurant fajardo puerto rico11/12/2023 ![]() I'm sure we will not recommend this place to our travelers. The flavor of the food was good but COLD food. We will not recommend this place, but if anyone is willing to try it please go ahead. He's qualifications for a Restaurant Manager were not the ones we are use to. He didn't make an effort to make it better. I told him that was not our problem that when we walked in he should had told us. ![]() ![]() I talked to the Manager and explained to him what was going on and he told me that he did not have enough staff and the pantry was lacking of food. Food was cold, Steaks were served without steak knives. We waited 90+ minutes for our food order then the appetizers came at the same time as the main course.The waiters had to call every dish out and we would have to raise our arm so he would know who order what. My sister had to ask for her diet coke 3 times.then I had to go to the manager to get her diet coke. We order drinks and appetizers and then main course for everyone. Service is horrible, food is horrible.We Went to this restaurant about a week ago while I was in Puerto Rico with my family. I would say non-locals just stay away from this place. The breakfast sandwiches made out of homemade waffles and French toast were a. I didn't want to make a scene, so my wife and I just left. The waiter however knew this and hit the "Tip 18% button" on the console. Under these circumstances, I had every intention of tipping zero percent. I asked for our check and to pay via credit card. There was what I can only describe as a rubbing alcohol taste to it. The waiter was horrible never came to check on us. We indicated again our food hasn't even arrived yet, why are you bring us the check? Waited around another 15 minutes and food came out. We waited another 15 minutes or so and she brought us our check. After waiting 1 hour, we told our waiter our food hasn't come out yet. They let down a stair into the water (which was about 4-5’ deep. It took about 30 or so minutes from the marina to arrive at beach at Caya Icacos. Nestled in Las Croabas, this public beach is famous for its crescent shape, sparkling waters and outdoor pursuits. The crew was great, they provided rum drinks, water, and a brown bag lunch. Then, spend a moment reading our roundup of the best things to do in Fajardo, Puerto Rico. Finally I asked someone to help us and they seated us. We took the 5.5 hour catamaran/snorkeling tour with Castillo tours, which left out of Fajardo. Some locals showed up after us and they immediately seated them. We stood in front of the chain, saw people eating inside, but no one came to help us for at least 10 minutes. The parking guy was extremely rude when I asked if their was an ATM nearby so I could go withdraw some cash (he thought I was trying to go to the beach). So many issues here, I don't know where to start. You won't regret it (don't forget, the food was amazing too!). People like the staff at Costa Mia are what make life enjoyable. They even took down my name and number in case somebody finds/turns in my keys/ID. They must have seen me wiping off a no-see-um at one point because they brought me bug spray and offered for me to wait inside at one of their tables. Later, as I was waiting at the beach for the tow truck, they came out to check on me and give me updates about the timing of the tow truck. I was parched after looking for my keys in the ocean for ~2 hrs, but didn't want to ask for water without any money to pay for it! I was SOOO grateful when Marilyn grabbed a cold bottle of water from the fridge and handed it to me just because she saw me sitting in the sun, and knowing I had no way to pay for it. With nowhere to go and not speaking spanish, the staff were unbelievably kind! They let me use their personal cell phones to call the rental car company and conversing with the tow truck driver in spanish. I ended up losing my drivers license, rental car keys, and credit cards. ![]() I had the lobster mofungo, which was amazing, but even more amazing was the experience with the staff after dinner. I stopped in for a meal and a snorkel across the street.
